Restored country house and outbuildings dating back to 1614 on a historic estate of approximately 3 hectares, ideally located between Knokke and Ghent, along the Ghent-Ostend canal and just a stone's throw from Sint-Martens-Latem.

The country house and outbuildings exude the minimalist elegance of art connoisseur and decorator Axel Vervoordt. The impressive estate, with its various walking paths and large hedges, was landscaped by renowned landscape architect Jacques Wirtz.

Upon entering the country house, the double open staircase in the serene, monastery-like entrance hall immediately sparks curiosity. The home reveals itself gradually through a pleasant sequence of spaces: a living room, a library with an office, a family kitchen, a separate service kitchen with a pantry, and an impressive underground art gallery leading to a large, classic Flemish barn. The first floor features two master suites, each with its own bathroom and dressing room.

The barn has been transformed into a reception area, where the monumental open fireplace, the rustic farmhouse table, and the impressive roof structure immediately catch the eye. The roof, built entirely using traditional techniques, features beams recycled from the Louvre in Paris. The floors and walls were crafted from a mix of local soil and lime, while the stones supporting the wooden pillars were salvaged from an old church. The barn also includes a fully equipped professional kitchen and is accessible both directly from the main house and via a separate entrance.

Additionally, there is a second outbuilding/spa house that includes a spacious loft with a sleeping area and bathroom, as well as a garage that can accommodate at least four cars.

Finally, the estate includes a swimming pool and outdoor parking for 16 cars.
